  • Step for Recipe - Kiwi, Apple & Blood Orange Salad with Basil Sprouts 1. Peel and slice blood orange, kiwi fruits and apples into thin round slices. Squeeze 1-2 slices of blood orange or peals of blood orange (if those have some pulp attached to them while peeling off) into a small bowl. Add 1/2 tbsp olive oil, salt and pepper to taste, mix well and leave aside. Arrange slices fruit in three layers on the two salad plates, top with 1/2 tbsp blood orange vinaigrette and basil sprouts. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
