  • Step for Recipe - Basmati Jeera Rice
    1. Heat oil in a deep heavy bottom sauce pan. Add cumin seeds and bay leaf. Fry for 30 seconds. Add pre washed rice, salt and water. Cover the pan and bring to boil on high heat. Reduce the heat and cook till done.

Savita's Notes:
For best results soak rice in water for 20 minutes before cooking. Rice will cook quickly and will be fluff and smooth in texture.
