You can also use fresh steamed or boiled rice for this recipe, but leftover always taste better.   • Step for Recipe - Lemon Rice
    1. Heat oil in a Wok or Kadai. Add channa dal fry for 30 seconds Or till dal starts changing color. Add peanuts and fry for 20 seconds. Then add mustard seeds, allow to splutter and then add dry red chillies, curry leaves and fry for another 30 seconds.

    2. Now turmeric powder and fry for 10 seconds. Add lemon juice, salt and mix well. Immediately add cooked rice and stir gently until everything is heated through.

    3. Lemon Rice are ready. Serve hot and Enjoy!!!
Savita's Notes:
If you like nuts, Cashew nuts can be very good addition. Just add them at same time when adding peanuts to oil.
