Sharing with you peppery and little spicy Arugula, Jalapeno, and Turmeric Smoothie. This 5 minutes green smoothie is perfect for a healthy start of the day. I call it - Hot Rocket, to remember ingredients of this smoothie.

Peppery sharp Arugula, spice goddess turmeric, hot jalapeno, tangy lime and then clementines and apple to round all the flavors.


I added Apple and clementines to this smoothie to make flavor more appealing and less spicy. You can also use ripe kiwi, pear or grapes instead.

Visualize it. Its like apple, clementine, arugula salad with jalapeno, turmeric and lime vinaigrette. Won't you eat this salad for lunch any day? Well, now you can drink it and it tastes really good.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Arugula (about two big handful baby arugula)
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric (fresh turmeric root about 1 inch)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Lime
  • 1/2 Jalapeno
  • 2 Clementine Orange
  • 1 Apple

Directions

  • 1. Blend Smoothie Fill blender jar with water (recommended 1/2 cup or as much as thin smoothie you like). Add all ingredients mentioned above. Blend at the slow speed to crush the fruit, then increase the speed to blend it per consistency you prefer. Pour in glass and enjoy!!
