Italian Seasoning

Italian seasoning, a blend of dried herbs, is a quick and convenient way to add flavor to traditional Italian-American dishes, like lasagna and marinara sauce. The exact contents vary depending on the spice purveyor, but Italian seasoning usually contains oregano, basil, thyme, marjoram, rosemary, and sometimes black pepper or garlic.

To make it at home, use :

2 Tablespoons basil
2 Tablespoons marjoram
2 Tablespoons oregano
2 Tablespoons rosemary
2 Tablespoons thyme
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Use immediately or store in an air tight container.
