This low calorie salad dressing takes less than 5 minutes to assemble and has fresh lemony taste. 1 tbsp of Honey Mustard Dressing is perfect for one medium bowl of Spring Greens Salad. Enjoy more salads this season with this perfect balanced Honey Mustard Dressing.

Most common honey mustard dressings are loaded with mayo and saturated fats. For this batch, I use fresh lemon juice, olive oil and mustard.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cup Lemon (Juice)
  • 1/4 Cup Honey (adjust per taste)
  • 4 tbsp Mustard (1 tbsp Stone Ground and 3 tbsp Dijon Mustard)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Garlic (Minced)
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil (Extra virgin or cold pressed)
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper (Fresh ground)

Directions

  • 1. Blend the Dressing Combine all ingredients in a food processor except oil. With motor running, add oil in slow stream to emulsify oil with other ingredients.
  • 2. Season and Serve Taste and adjust seasoning. Refrigerate until ready to use.
    Additional Notes:
    How about spread it over buns for some delicious Homemade Burgers? Or Drizzle over some fresh greens salad just before serving. Enjoy!!
