Summer Favorite Apple and Strawberries Smoothie

Apple and Strawberries go perfect in this summer inspired lite and healthy smoothie. I always recommend adding a little bit of honey to smoothie if you cannot handle tart flavor of berries. During this time, strawberries are much sweet and delicious. I also suggest, adding a pinch of salt. Salt really balances the flavor of sweet and sour smoothies very well. Don't just believe me, make this smoothie without salt and taste it, then add salt and then taste again. I am sure you will notice the difference.

All fruits in this recipe are on softer side, so even hand blender will be fine to make this smoothie.

Apple and Strawberries Smoothie

You can replace water with low-fat yogurt or buttermilk, if you prefer, however, I have kept this smoothie vegan.

This smoothie is perfect for lunch. I won't mind drinking it for dinner too (but only if you planning to control your diet and trying to loose weight).

Feel free to adjust and adapt per your schedule and don't forget to let me know how you liked it.

Until next smoothie recipe, next week...

Enjoy health, one glass at a time!!
