Granola

Granola is a breakfast food and snack food, popular in the Americas, consisting of rolled oats, nuts, honey, and sometimes puffed rice, that is usually baked until crisp. During the baking process the mixture is stirred to maintain a loose, breakfast cereal-type consistency. Dried fruits, such as raisins and dates, are sometimes added.

These days gluten free and nuts free granola varieties are also available. Check in the cereals section of most groceries stores to find a number of options to choose from. Gluten free and low calorie granola are generally made with quinoa or rice. Stores like Farmers Market or Whole Foods sell granola in bulk food section. You can buy as much as you like. They also carry granola made with buckwheat and raw hemp seeds.
