Midday Smoothie is my favorite way to replenish body with 5 servings of raw fruit and veggies in a day and that too as a delicious glass full. I love eating raw veggies and salads, but these blended smoothies makes it even more easy to enjoy vitamin and anti-oxidants packed day.

Midday Smoothie with Spinach Strawberry and Blood Orange

Today, I used spinach for this smoothie, but, I often use Kale or Mustard Greens too. Greens blend very well with raw tart and sweet fruits. You will not even realize that you had a good serving of veggies.

I strongly recommend using Blood Orange and Acai powder for this smoothie. Both add to the color and taste of this smoothie at the same time.

A perfect smoothie for lunch - One glass of this smoothie at mid-day will surely keep the doctor away.

  • 8-10 Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 Apple (red delicious or gala apple)
  • 1 Cup Spinach (a big handful)
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 Blood Orange
  • 1/4 Cup Cranberries
  • 1 tbsp Acai Berry (acai berry powder)


  • 1. Blend Smoothie Fill blender jar with water (recommended 1/2 cup or as much as thin smoothie you like). Add orange (peeled and seeded), spinach, cranberries, apple, acai powder. strawberries (stalks removed). Blend at the slow speed to crush the fruit, then increase the speed to blend it per consistency you prefer. Pour in glass and enjoy!!
