Eggless French Toast
Eggless French toast is an easy and healthy breakfast recipe. My family also enjoys this recipe for dessert with warm chocolate drizzled over these yummy sweet Hawaiian toasts.

  • 4 Hawaiian Rolls
  • 4-5 Cardamom (pods)
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Strawberries (Or Raspberries)
  • 1 tsp Sugar (Powdered Sugar for dusting)

    1. Crush the Cardamom pods with muddler. Add crushed pods and sugar to milk. Mix well to dissolve the sugar. Set aside for 15 minutes so that milk develops Cardamom flavor. If you do not like Cardamom flavor, you can replace it with 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.

    2. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a shallow frying pan.

    3. Dip Hawaiian Roll in Cardamom infused milk. Gently press Roll in milk so that Hawaiian Roll absorbs some milk.

    4. Now carefully slide it into hot pan. Fry in butter till all sides are golden brown in color.

    5. Remove toast from pan. Place in serving plate, drizzle hot chocolate (optional) and dust with powder sugar. Serve hot with fresh berries - raspberries or strawberries.
